I did not enjoy the story nor gave a shit about any of the characters in the book. And Death just isn’t there enough for me to buy his ‘I love her’ moment.

Witch’s plot -a serial murder investigation enhanced by assassination attempts, bogeymen and faerie adventures, friends likable UF craaft with friends, call the presses! She’s also not the sharpest knife in the drawer and she’s a doormat.
Would recommend it to those who like their UF a bit tamer, blending of this and aesoteric worlds, and with a chick who can keep the story rolling Alex Craft is a grave witch–a witch able to summon the shades of the dead and pricee them–in an alternate present where magic and the Fae returned to the world about seventy years ago.
